It was a clear late afternoon when I photographed this scene at the Warneet wetlands in Westernport. I decided to treat the empty sky as a blank canvas. As with many of my other paintings, I like to explore the dynamic between serenity and anxiety - the storm has passed and once again there is calm, but for how long?
